We are able to take a digital image of your retina without the need to dilate your pupils. This allows for accurate detection and monitoring of ocular conditions including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. This image is then stored in our database to compare with future and past exams.

We now measure the diameter of the Cornea and Pupil to understand what, if anything, needs adjusting using corrective lenses or contacts.

Perimeter Testing

A replacement for the old visual field testing, our automated equipment will quickly and accurately check loss of peripheral vision, scotomas, and other eye, retinal, optic nerve and brain disorders.

Glaucoma Testing

Glaucoma patients aren't excluded at Reading Eye Associates. Using laser technology, we are able to digital scan your retinal surface and end up with a three-dimensional image of your retina. We can then track progression of changes using our database of images.

Eyeglass Prescription

With our experienced optometrists and our automated phoropter, we will make sure that if you need lenses or contacts, you'll be getting the right ones!
